ACS, A Xerox Company, Completes Acquisition of ExcellerateHRO, Strengthening Leadership in HR Services
August 02, 2010

DALLAS - Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), A Xerox Company, today announced the completion of its acquisition of ExcellerateHRO, LLP (EHRO), enhancing its premiere end-to-end human resource services capabilities. ACS announced on May 25 a definitive agreement to acquire EHRO.

With the addition of EHRO, ACS now offers leading capabilities in the four main HR services disciplines: consulting, benefits administration, HR outsourcing, and learning services. By offering all of these services through one organization, ACS’ clients are able to provide their employees the convenience of accessing and managing all of their benefits through one service provider and all from one location, as ACS seamlessly integrates every aspect of HR and benefits administration.

“By giving our clients the ability to purchase any HR service from one market-leading company like ACS, we enable our clients to leverage those savings, while offering improved and more convenient services to their employees," said Ann Vezina, executive vice president and group president, ACS Human Resource Services. “With a shared vision and a results-focused approach combined with Xerox’s investment in technology, innovation and expertise our clients can focus on their real business.”

HR outsourcing has outpaced other segments of the business process outsourcing industry, with employers worldwide spending more than $100 billion annually on these services.

The acquisition builds upon Xerox’s proven ability through ACS to provide specific solutions to benefits administration needs in every sector. The addition of EHRO establishes ACS as one of the world’s largest third-party pension administrators.

EHRO’s leadership team will be integrated into ACS’ HR services capabilities while continuing to focus on expanding ACS’ global footprint through access to new industries and markets with more flexible record keeping platforms.

ACS’ services are provided to more than 5.5 million employees and retirees in more than 80 countries worldwide in 20 languages.
